We are very excited to offer you an artistic opportunity in a creative atmosphere, and we hope you are just as excited to play a part in continuing the tradition of celebrating art in the Minot community. Please join us at our Warhol “Factory” Premiere Party featuring a bevy of hors d’oeuvres, wine, desserts, as well as a silent auction in celebration of Andy Warhol. There will be live music by Bismarck Band, Kids with Beards from 7 - 8 pm and Minot’s Echo’s Answer from 8 - 10 pm. It will be held Friday October 18 (must be 21 to attend) at the State Fair Center – 7 pm – 10 pm.  Tickets are $30 members– $35 nonmembers– and at the door, available at the Taube Museum of Art, Artmain, and Artistry. Also, in keeping with the spirit of the Warhol theme, if you bring in a can of soup, you will receive a $1 off your admission ticket price! Limit two per ticket. All soup proceeds will benefit Minot’s Soup Kitchens.

Saturday Family Day, October 18th, the hours are from 10 am – 5 pm.  General admission is $2 (10 and under free) with children’s activities $1.  The art created by the children under the inspiration of our featured Artist Andy Warhol will be “pop”ular!  Adults can mingle and browse for art work, which inspires them, bid on the Silent Auction, and enjoy the musical performances by local musicians including musical wallpaper by Leonard Haabak and more. This promises to be a fantastic time with art from over 35 regional and local artists. The Taube Museum of Art is proud to be able to bring this Fundraiser to the Minot community, while celebrating the Arts at Artfest 2013! Proceeds will benefit ongoing programming for the Taube Museum of Art.
