The residents of the City of Minot have been very supportive of the Minot Air Force Base and its missions. In the last couple of years funds were raised to display an outdoor replica of a B 52 Bomber at both the Minot Air Force Base and at the Dakota Territory Air Museum.  Now, it is time to complete the displays at the intersection of Summit Drive and Missile Avenue. The Minot Military Affairs Committee of the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce would like to make it more visible to all the military personnel, families,  and visitors that come to MAFB. The bomber is in the southwest corner of the intersection, and a replica model of an ICBM MMIII will be placed in the northwest corner of the intersection, tentatively set for placement next spring.

Please consider a donation to help install the 1⁄4 scale MMIII missile model at the Minot Air Force Base. The cost of the project is $25,000,
with the Base responsible for lighting, decorative brickwork, and a cement foundation for the model itself.  If you would like to support
this project or need further i n f o rma t i o n , please call John MacMartin at 852-6000 . Donations can be made tax deductible by running them
through the Minot Area Community Foundation.
